Tie-dye never goes out of style

Ok so here goes nothing! My first ever blog post.

I’m going to start by talking about one of my instagram posts that got a really good response. TIE DYE JOGGERS, and oh my gosh, they are amazing.

I got mine from Water Colour Daisy (Instagram: @wcd_store), created by the wonderful Monica.

The awesome thing about this company is she tie dye’s everything to order so you can have any colour combination your heart desires making every piece completely unique to you.

As well as Joggers you can also get some very cool Nike socks, matching sweatshirts, tee shirts and vest tops.

I was drawn to the Joggers straight away. They’re high waisted which is always a win with jogging bottoms if you are an hour glass shape. My smallest part Is my waist and I have much bigger hips so these are much more flattering than low rise ones. I always find myself hiking them up and high waisted covers a multitude of sins. They are also much easier to dress up if you feel like it.

Below are my 3 favourite ways to wear these tie dye joggers.

Look 1 and probably my favourite look is with a graphic tee. I love the contrast and they’re really great tucked in. It gives them a slightly smarter look. I’ve lived in mine since I got them and I’ve been wearing them out on my daily walks with a cord jacket and converse. This is a look I’d happily wear out and about when lockdown is over.

The abstract tee is last year’s Topshop and the beach hut tee is from M&S. I’d never normally shop in M&S but on occasions you can find some gems (this tee was reduced to 70p in the sale!!!)

Look 2 is with a simple block colour vest top. I think the grey makes the colours really pop. I’d definitely tuck this in and let the Joggers do the talking.

I live in these vests, they are from H&M and I have at least 3 in each staple colour. They’re super cheap at £3.99 and you can get some multi deals too. They are perfect for layering, especially if, like me, you’re cold alllllll the time. If you do find yourself on the H&M website, make sure you check out their home section. I didn’t know until recently that they even had one, but oh my god it’s good!

Look 3 is comfort overload. Wear with an oversized sweatshirt for lounging around the house. This MTV one is actually Simon’s, I always find men’s sweatshirts more comfy. It’s a very old Topman one but they normally have a pretty good selection. If you’re looking for something a bit different try hello dodo for unisex sweatshirts. You can also get a sweatshirt to match from WCD_Store.
